| The
following information is the policies for Vendors attending Council Tree
Pow Wow. Printable copies are attached with the
application. Application
I understand that I must submit my Vendor application by August 1, 2008 with full payment. After August 15, 2008 the fee is $300. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS or EXTENSIONS to this deadline. NO imports, Oriental, Mexican, &/or South American items will be allowed for sale. I understand that I must sell ONLY North American Indian made items. Proof of Artisan may be requested. NO EXCEPTION!!! I understand that the booth fee is $250 for art/crafts booth & $350 for food booth for three days. This fee is for One Artisan Only!! Two artisans sharing a booth is $350. Both artisans must submit applications. Three pictures of your work must be submitted with the application for the Executive Committee review process. Returning Vendors need not submit photos unless your arts and craft items change. I understand the booth space is 15ft. X 15ft. Electricity is provided. I will furnish 100 foot extension cord. Table, chairs and shade are not included. I understand no fees will be refunded if I cancel my plans to participate in the Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival. Exception: If cancellation is due to a family emergency, I have a right to appeal to the Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival committee with appropriate documentation. I understand that space assignments will be made by the Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival committee and there will be NO BOOTH CHANGES OR SWITCHING!!! I understand that I am responsible to collect 7.9% Sales Tax on all items sold. The taxes will be collected daily by a committee member and turned in under Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival. I understand my booth setup can not be started until clearance has been given by the Pow Wow office. Set-up Hours: Thursday 1:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 9:00am. I understand that my booth will be staffed at ALL TIMES during Market Operation Hours. I understand that my booth will be opened: Friday & Saturday 9:00am to 10:00pm; Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm. I understand that NO PETS, DRUGS OR ALCOHOL will be allowed on the Pow Wow grounds. If I do not abide by this rule, I will be required to leave. No fees will be refunded. I understand that soliciting support for political issues or promoting & advertising for a non-profit will not be allowed. There will be no selling of Raffle tickets or soliciting for cash donations. If I do not abide by this rule, I will be required to leave. No fees will be refunded. I understand that Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival will not be responsible for any loss, stolen or damage of items; injury to me, my employees, or customers on the premises of my assigned space. I agree to hold the Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival harmless in any case of injury or theft. I have read and agree to comply with all Vendor Rules and Regulations if chosen to participate in the Council Tree Pow Wow & Cultural Festival. |
