Awards for Drum Contest

1st. Place - $1,000         2nd Place - $550         3rd Place - $300

$50 per session day money to the first ten registered Drums.  Must make drum roll call!!

2008 Rules for Singers

1.  All lead singers must register their drum group to be eligible for drum monies.  Day monies to the First 10 registered drums.

2.  After initial set-up all Drums groups must set-up at the same location each session.

3.  All Drum groups must be present and ready to sing one half hour prior to each grand entry and answer drum roll call to qualify for payment.

4.  Song lengths will be limited as follows:  Intertribals - 6 pushups: Contes - 4 pushups; and Grand Entry - 4 pushups.

5.  Drum rotation will be clockwise for intertribals and counter-clockwise for contest songs.  Exception:  Northern Drums for Northern contest categories and Southern Drums for Southern contest categories.

6.  Any singers suspected of alcohol or drug use by the Arena Director or Committee will be cause for the drum group to be disqualified and must leave the grounds.  Return will be determined by the Executive Committee.

7.  No drum hopping.

Sound System will be provided

No personal sound systems allowed!!

No canopies of ANY kind in the arbor!!
